What We Do

The El Paso Immigration Collaborative (EPIC) is a legal project aimed at increasing access to legal representation for persons detained in the El Paso Processing Center, Otero County Processing Center, West Texas Detention Facility, Torrance County Detention Facility, and Cibola County Detention Center. EPIC’s primary goal is to assist persons who are eligible for bond, parole, or persons who have received a negative fear decision and want to fight to reverse it. EPIC cannot assist a person if they already have an attorney. 

EPIC’s services are completely free of charge. We currently offer the following representation:

• Bond Hearings 
• Parole Requests
• Challenging negative fear decisions (even if you’ve already lost your review before a judge)

If you would like to refer someone to our project for possible legal representation, you can call our free hotline number (915) 532-3975, ext. 9000 and leave a voicemail with the following information for your loved one: 

• Full legal name 
• A number (alien registration number) 
• Country of birth 
• Date of birth
• The detention center where they are being detained 

EPIC cannot guarantee legal assistance or legal representation for a case.
